Conrad Murray found GUILTY

A seven-man, five-woman jury decided today that Dr. Conrad Murray was GUILTY of involuntary manslaughter after only 10 hours and 7 minutes of deliberation (a fancy word for “thinking about it”).

Dr. Murray is now in custody in LA and will be until his sentencing on Nov. 29 without bail.

He faces up to four years in state prison and will probably lose his medical license. But, because of a rule that the State of California recently put into place because of serious “overcrowding of the prisons”, Dr. Murray could spend his entire jail term in the LA County Jail and would most likely have that time cut short significantly.

Michael Jackson’s family said they are, “very happy that they came out victorious and are pleased with the verdict delivered by the jury.”

But, much like Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) tweeted, “People are cheering the verdict, but there are no winners here. This has been an utter tragedy from beginning to end.”

Rest in peace, Michael Jackson.
