1D's Niall Horan: "We're Here as Long as the Fans Want Us"

ABC/Lou RoccoOne Direction insists they're not breaking up, despite rumors to the contrary.

The band's Harry Styles tells the British tabloid The Sun, "We always hear rumors about us splitting -- but we're not," adding, "We've already started recording our fourth album."

Bandmate Niall Horan echoed Harry's remarks, telling the paper, "The fact we have an album coming should put these rumors to bed. We're here as long as the fans want us."

Liam Payne didn't provide many clues as to what the band's upcoming album will sound like, except to tell the tabloid, "Every year we work hard to establish a new sound, rather than sticking to the same old stuff."

One Direction kicked off its Where We Are world tour Friday night in Bogota, Colombia.  The tour runs through October 5.
