Katy Perry's latest fragrance, Killer Queen's Royal Revolution, has now been officially announced, and the way the singer describes it, it's the perfect scent to spray on before you head off to battle.
"In some ways wearing fragrance is like putting on an invisible suit of luxurious armor," she says in a statement. "I want Royal Revolution to inspire women to make their own rules and embrace the idea that beauty and inner confidence can come together to become your secret weapon." Underscoring the comparison, the bottle's stopper is gunmetal gray, and shaped like a helmet on a suit of armor.
Described as "a fragrance that is as beautiful as it is bold, as royal as it is rebellious," the perfume features pomegranate, sandalwood, orange flower, jasmine, musk, vanilla orchid and something called "mystical blackthorn," which was "known in the Dark Ages for its magical powers, and used in spells of impenetrable protection."
The perfume, available in two sizes and as a lotion, ranges in price from $25 to $59.
