In addition to entertaining us with their music, live performances and acting, some of pop's biggest stars also spent 2018 intriguing us. At least, that's what People magazine says.
The magazine's annual list of the 25 Most Intriguing People includes Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and her A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper and Shawn Mendes.
Ariana got People's attention thanks to her engagement and subsequent breakup with Pete Davidson, and her #1 single "thank u, next" which mentions all of her exes. Gaga and Bradley are praised for the "emotional nakedness" and "amazing chemistry" they displayed onscreen.
Cardi B made the list for her amazing chart success, her double-platinum album, her baby girl Kulture and her beef with Nicki Minaj. Shawn made the list for scoring his third #1 album and being involved with Hailey Baldwin for five minutes...before she married Justin Bieber.
Others on People's list: Idris Elba, Meghan Markle, Chadwick Boseman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Obama, Carrie Underwood, Serena Williams, the Parkland Teens and Crazy Rich Asians star Constance Wu.
