Meghan Trainor to headline 2019 LA Pride Festival
From March 14, 2019
Meghan Trainor has been announced as one of the headliners for this year’s L.A. Pride Festival.
The event will be taking place June 8 and 9, though it’s not yet clear which day Meghan will be performing. The second headliner for the festival will be British electronic pop trio Years & Years.
Meghan has been a longtime ally of the LGBTQ community. In 2018, she wrote a love letter, published by Billboard, in which she said, “To the entire LGBTQ+ community, I love you with all of my heart, I appreciate you endlessly, and I support you with all that I have and believe in. I am there for you as you have been for me.”
This year’s L.A. Pride theme is #JustUnite, promoting the progress the LGBTQ+ community has made while working together and serving as a reminder that there is still more work to be done.
Tickets for the festival will be going on sale soon.
